Continuing Professional Development
For Eurythmists, Speakers, Actors & Directors
Working artistically with Bettina Grube
February 20–22
Peredur Centre for the Arts, East Grinstead (RH19 4NF)
This CPD course offers a rare and inspiring opportunity for performers to come together, exchange ideas, and deepen their artistic practice with Bettina Grube.
This is not a workshop. Bettina will be sharing her insights, experience, and research to support us in working together creatively, strengthening our artistic capacities, and becoming more expressive and connected performers.
What will we explore?
Together we may address questions such as:
Speech and Eurythmy
How do these two art forms truly meet? Where do tensions arise—and how can collaboration become more joyful, productive, and alive? What can we learn from one another’s experience?
The Art of Directing
Every stage art needs direction. What can eurythmists and speakers learn from theatre directors? How can we inspire and direct one another artistically? What skills do we need to develop?
Public Perception
Why are eurythmy and speech often misunderstood or overlooked? Do programming choices—what we present and where—affect how audiences receive our work?
Supporting Young Talent
How can we better encourage, nurture, and stand behind gifted young artists?
Speech and Drama Training
How essential is the Speech and Drama course for all of us, including eurythmists? For example, working with the six gestures and with space.
